CANADA POWERED BY WOMEN

Established in 2019, Canada Powered by Women (CPW) is a non-partisan, non-profit organization dedicated to amplifying the voices of engaged women within Canada's energy and economic landscape. Their latest research shows that engaged women are 6.7 million Canadians representing 42 per cent of the female population. Engaged women believe that a robust energy sector and economic growth are integral to realizing the vision that women have for the nation. They are proud of our energy resources and urgently want bold, collaborative leadership and energy policy that makes tangible progress in their daily lives.

Through national surveying with Leger and various initiatives, CPW actively engages women in discussions about energy solutions that consider the economy, energy security – including affordability and reliability and emissions reduction. In doing so, CPW aims to influence public perception, policymakers, and media to find common ground solutions to shape Canadas energy future.

We are driven by the unshakable belief that a better world is possible, and we can make it happen together.
